The moments you didn’t plan are the ones worth remembering.
Our Moments Together…
The heart of what we’re creating isn’t about stiff poses or perfect smiles- it’s about connection, emotion, and the beautiful chaos of this season of life. My goal is to capture your story just as it is- raw, real and full of love.
In-home sessions allow us to slow down and document your family in the space where your memories are unfolding every day. It’s where your baby will grow up, where the quiet feelings and wild toddler moments happen. That’s the magic I want to preserve for you.
What to Expect
Your session will be gentle, baby-led, and completely unforced. We’ll flow with your family’s rhythm. I’ll gently guide you into moments, but I won’t over-direct. I want you to feel like yourselves- so if that means cuddling on the bed, chasing a toddler through the hallway, or nursing your newborn while still in your robe, we’ll go with it.
This is your story, not a photoshoot performance.
Session Length
Plan for about 1.5-2 hours together. There’s no rush. We’ll take our time so that your baby can eat, snuggle, or settle as needed. These pauses often turn into the most honest and moving photos.
Let Your Home Be Your Story
Don’t stress about having a “perfect” home. The story lives in your everyday details- wrinkled sheets, baby blankets on the couch, a favourite chair by the window.
I’ll find the light and guide you to the spots that feel cozy and meaningful.
Usually we’ll spend time in:
~ The living room
~ The nursery
~ The kitchen
~ Your bedroom
Just tidy lightly- leave the realness. That’s what we’re here to honour.
What to Wear (or Not Wear)
This isn’t about dressing up- it’s about feeling like you. Choose pieces that are soft, comfortable, and true to your style.
For you:
~ Earth tones, neutrals, soft textures, denims
~ Flowy dresses, cozy knits, simple tees
~ Bare feet or socks are perfect
~ If you’re postpartum - loose breathable clothes that make you feel god
For baby:
~ Swaddled or in a simple onesie, some people like to capture their coming home outfit.
~ Diaper-only is beautiful too
~ Don’t worry if they’re fussy- we’ll move with them
For Partners and Kids:
~ Keep it easy and relaxed
~ No logos or busy patterns - just colours that blend naturally
~ Outfit coordination is nice, but not match-matchy
If your toddler or child refuse to get dressed or take off their Spiderman costume that’s fine too, don’t overwhelm yourselves trying to force it, let me work around it.
Before Your Session
~ Feed your baby right before I arrive if possible (but no pressure!)
~ Keep the house a little warmer that usual to keep the baby cozy
~ Open up windows or blinds in rooms with natural light
~ Try to let the morning be slow and calm if you can
What I’ll Be Capturing
This session is about the moments between moments.
Here’s what I’ll be looking for:
~ The way you instinctively touch your baby’s head
~ The way your partner looks at you while you hold your newborn
~ Siblings tiptoeing around the bassinet or climbing into your lap
~ Feedings, diaper changes, belly laughs, tired eyes and tiny yawns
~ Honest love - raw and beautiful
After the Session
You’ll receive a curated online gallery of fully edited images within 2-3 weeks. These will tell your story- the story of your love, your connection, your right-now.
You’ll be able to:
~ Download all high-resolution images
A Note for Mothers
You are in the thick of it right now- maybe healing, maybe overwhelmed, maybe deeply in love. You might not feel like being photographed, but you belong in these memories.
Years from now, your child will want to see you- not the version you waited to be, but the version who held them, sang to them, and loved them without condition.
Let’s honour that.
